NewsOne 29 de julio de 2013 a las 16:02 · On this day in 1918, the National Liberty Congress of Colored Americans asked Congress to make lynching a federal crime. Amazingly, there had been no federal law enacted to outlaw the racist practice, despite hundreds of bills that were introduced to Congress and seven presidents who urged lawmakers to pass the law between the years of 1890 and 1952.
