Congress in its great wisdom, decided that the circumstances surrounding “The East St. Louis Massacre of 1917” were to be preserved for future generations to deal with.
The effect that resulted was, that all of the hundreds to thousands of whites that murdered between 250 and 700 unarmed Black men, women and children in the most despicable ways ever chronicled in American history, none would ever be brought to justice to pay for their crimes.
The criminals are all so old today they are either already dead or dying. That includes Black survivors of the holocaust. The act of hiding the details of the horrific event also deprived Black America of justice. It is pure and simple premeditated case of “Justice Denied.”
