Alice Faye Williams (Afeni Shakur) moved from North Carolina to New York at the age of 21. Notice how there isn’t much information in regards to Afeni, her background, or what got her interested in activism in the first place. I believe that this is done intentionally to maintain the illusion of her being a hero. Alice was either an Informant recruited into this government psy-op and planted as a leader of the Harlem Chapter of the Black Panther Party or she willingly began to involve herself in this bogus movement that was on the rise in order to make connections with these agents that would greatly benefit her. Alice now had to take on a new role, so to hide her identity or her undercover ties to the central intelligence agency, she went under the alias Afeni Shakur (and Joanne Chesimard went under the alias of Assata Shakur). When Afeni was accused of conspiring criminal acts in New York, she was placed in the infamous “Panther 21 Trials” with the bail set at $100,000 for each criminal suspect. The mythical story that’s been told is that while in jail, Afeni read a book called “History Will Absolve Me” by Fidel Castro and was so influenced by his actions that she decided to represent herself in court. The myth is that pregnant Afeni’s “powerful words” in front of the judge got her out of the 300-year jail sentence that she was facing. This is not the case. By virtue of either her ties to the CIA or the connections she’d made, Afeni landed a powerful Jewish lawyer named Richard Fischbein. It was understood that she would be bailed out of jail if she agreed to sell her son whom she was pregnant with to a government psy-op that would be a continuation of the incentive to destroy the Black community and maintain the faux “Black Power” agenda meant to indoctrinate the next generation (Gen X). J. Edgar Hoover spoke of the fear of a “Black Messiah” emerging from lower-class Black America. So to prevent this from actually happening, they manufactured a fake “Black Messiah” figure through one of their projects called Project Janus under the CIA MK Ultra program. By this time the entire Black Panther Party was undertaken by the CIA so it no stretch of the imagination for them to be associated with mind control and indoctrination programs which were also under the wing of the CIA. Afeni was desperate to avoid a life sentence in prison, she took the deal, and WAS REMOVED FROM ALL 156 CHARGES AGAINST HER and was freed from her life-long 300 year sentence. You do NOT get off 156 charges unless you are sacrificing yourself or someone else to a powerful institution or agency. You do NOT get lifted from a life sentence without making a pact with the higher ups who run the judicial branch. Afeni was one of, if not the ONLY Panther to be removed for every single one of her charges and avoid her prison sentence. Meaning that she sold herself out. You cannot talk your way out of a life sentence with a judge like her “story” says. You cannot plea and bargain and debate a judge out of removing you from a 300 year sentence. This woman sacrificed her son to a movement to get out of prison and agreed that this information would be covered up and buried underneath the layers of fictional stories of her being a hero among others.
