When people don’t know how to use treaties… They then turn around and say: “The Treaties don’t work or the White man don’t respect treaties…” Lies… The Treaty that the Lakota Nation have with the United States stop the pipeline through Pine Ridge reservation… The Treaty of 1866 between the United States and the Five Civilized Tribes dealing with the Muscogee Creek Nation have all of Eastern Oklahoma… The Treaty between the Pamunkey Nation and Queen Annie that acknowledge the Pamunkey land and territory for their reservations… And they became federally recognized after applying for recognition… And then there’s a treaty with Mexico and the Seminoles there… And then my Nation the Yamassee have Treaties… Etc
